(PALM SPRINGS, FLA) — Police found a man dead inside his Palm Springs home.

The Palm Springs Police were called to a welfare check at 3718 Coconut Road about 7:30 a.m. Saturday after a concerned neighbor said he had not seen the resident in a few days.

When deputies entered the home they found 49-year-old William C. Coryn’s dead body, Palm Springs police spokesman Edgar Morley said.

The victim lived alone in the home and no one else was there when police arrived, Morley said.

Police are investigating the suspicious death.
