CHAMBLEE, GA- 19 year old Oliver Ramos was arrested by Georgia authorities on Wednesday and is charged with statutory rape in connection with a missing 15 year old girl from Jupiter.

An Amber Alert had been issued for the girl last Saturday and she was suspected of being with Ramos and en route to Georgia at the time of her disappearance.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement along with the FBI and Georgia officials were able to track them down to an apartment complex in the town of Chamblee, Georgia, northeast of Atlanta, on Sunday.

The girl was found safe, and Chamblee police charged Ramos with statutory rape based on an incident that had taken place at the apartment.

Ramos surrendered without incident and was transported to the DeKalb county jail.

Investigators say Ramos was known to the victim, and he may face abduction charges in Florida.
