A father has been arrested after he reportedly murdered his daughter’s boyfriend whom he believed sold her into sex trafficking.

60-year-old John Eisenman was arrested for the murder of the 19-year-old man after an investigation into his death.

Officials say they began investigating the case on October 22nd after they received a call about an abandoned vehicle that had a strange odor coming from it.

When authorities arrived, they were told that their might be a body in the trunk of the car. Upon, opening the trunk, they discovered the teen’s body inside.

During the investigation, authorities learned that Eisenman’s young daughter dated the deceased in 2020 and was reportedly sold to a sex trafficking organization in the Seattle area by the boyfriend. Eisenman managed to rescue his daughter from the organization and then set out to confront her boyfriend.

Eisenman reportedly learned that the deceased would be at a specific location and went to that location and waited for him. When Eisenman located the boyfriend he then abducted him, tied him up and put him in the trunk of a vehicle. Eisenman then hit the teen in the head with a cinderblock and proceeded to stab him to death.

The father then abandoned the vehicle with the body still inside in a remote area in North Spokane County. In 2021, the vehicle was then reportedly moved to a new area in Spokane by a third-party who reportedly did not know there was a body in the trunk.  The body was then discovered by people rummaging through the vehicle looking for valuables almost a year after the death.

Eisenman was taken into custody and is being held on a being held on a $1 million bond.
