Man dropped off to hospital while still on fire

SPOKANE, WA– Spokane City police are investigating an incident where a man was brought to an area hospital while still on fire, Monday.
Authorities say the victim’s clothes were covered in a flammable substance, and that he had to be flown to Harborview Medical Center for burns on over 30% of his body.
Officials say they were able to determine that the man was intentionally set on fire at a home in a neighborhood north of Esmeralda Golf Course but gave no other details.
Investigators are speaking with several people who are familiar with the man and the situation. They are also asking anyone with any information on this case to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
