Officials in Largo, Florida are reporting that a man was discovered dead in gator-filled waters near a disc golf course.
The incident occurred on May 31st at Taylor Lake in John S. Taylor Park.
Witnesses say the victim was in the lake searching for Frisbees and other discs that ended up in the water.
While authorities say the incident is still under investigation, they did report that “a gator was involved,” in the victim’s death.
Officials also noted that there are no swimming signs and alligator warnings all over the disc golf course.
