A 33-year-old man has died from his injuries after his mother ran him over with her car during an argument about her missing purse.
The incident occurred at 12616 Sandstone Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 28th.
Authorities say they were called to the area after witnesses noticed an injured man in the driveway.
When they arrived, they found 33-year-old Joshua Jennings suffering from several injuries.
He was taken to an area hospital where he later died from those injuries.
Investigators identified 53-year-old Cindy Jennings as the person who ran over Joshua.
Cindy told authorities that she and her son got into an argument after she could not find her purse and accused him of stealing it.
She then jumped into her vehicle and left but claims she did not realize that she ran over her son.
Authorities also reported that alcohol was involved.
Cindy was taken into custody on Monday and charged with manslaughter.
