Police are investigating an incident after a man shot his wife Tuesday morning.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, at around 3 a.m. a man shot his wife and then barricaded himself inside a home on 7th Avenue North near Dixie Highway in Lake Worth Beach.

Police say the man then shot himself and died. His wife remains in critical condition.
