A Pensacola man was arrested after he was caught making crack cocaine in a hotel room.
36-year-old Demetrius “Meat” Johnson was arrested on Thursday at a hotel on 7000-block of Pensacola Boulevard in Escambia.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says once they entered the room, they found methamphetamine, cocaine, Alprazolam, drug paraphernalia, and an MP5-style gun,” a release states.
It is unclear who made the call or how they knew Johnson was in possession of cocaine.
He has since been charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, distribution of cocaine within a thousand feet of a place of worship, two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm of a convicted felon.
