Man breaks into Michael Bloomberg’s ranch and kidnaps an employee

A Colorado area man has been arrested after he allegedly broke into former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s ranch, and kidnapped a female employee.

The suspect Joseph Beecher reportedly rammed his truck through the gate of the Ranch on Wednesday.

The victim told investigators Beecher was heavily armed, threatened to “shoot her face off. ” She also told police that Beecher asked for Bloomberg’s daughters by name and demanded to know their location. When Beecher was informed that the girls were not at the ranch he then ordered the employee to get in her truck and drive him around because he want to  “make an international scene.”

The employee was later found at a motel in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Authorities reported that they were able to locate her using a tracking app she had on her devices.

Beecher has since been taken into custody and is facing charges including second-degree kidnapping, aggravated robbery and felony menacing in Colorado. He also faces a federal kidnapping charge for allegedly transporting the victim across state lines.

He is being held in jail in Cheyenne without bond at the recommendation of federal prosecutors.
