Man arrested in Indian River County for multiple felony charges after fleeing the police multiple times

(INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Florida)– A man in Indian River County has been arrested after deputies had to pursue him multiple times.

Gary Baker, the man in question, was able to evade authorities on two separate occasions over the past several weeks, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Baker has already had several felony suspensions on his driver’s license when he was approached by Indian River deputies and proceeded to flee on his motorcycle.

Six arrest warrants were issued for Baker, Monday, November 21st, when he was seen pulling into his residence, operating his vehicle illegally.

Once Baker had been confirmed to be in his home, deputies entered the house, arrested him, and confiscated several firearms.

Baker is facing six felony charges, including possession of 6 grams of heroin.
