MIAMI BEACH, FL– Authorities in Miami-Dade County say that they have arrested a man in connection with a woman who was shot and left for dead in an alleyway.
Ron Adam Donaldson was taken into custody Tuesday evening, following a standoff situation outside of a residence on 69th Street and Byron Avenue.
Investigators say Donaldson was the suspect seen on surveillance video pushing the victim out of his vehicle earlier that morning. Donaldson then shot the woman and took off in the vehicle.
The victim’s body was discovered in the area of Northwest 26th Avenue and 95th Street around 7:00 a.m. after a witness called the police.
When authorities arrived to the area, the woman was already dead.
Donaldson now faces a second-degree murder charge.
