COCONUT CREEK, FL– A man has been taken into custody after kidnapping both the mother of his child and the child.
The incident occurred Sunday in Coconut Creek.
Authorities say they became aware of the situation after receiving a report that both the mother Suewayne Hylton, and her son had gone missing after being seen with the child’s father Juan Bailey Jr.
While investigating the disappearance, authorities found evidence that the mother and child did not leave with Bailey Jr. willingly.
After searching for hours, the mother and the baby were located in Belle Glade just after 4:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
Bailey has been taken into custody and charged with kidnapping.
