Police in Miami-Dade County have arrested a man who reportedly beat and tried to strangle a woman outside of a bus stop.

According to the report, the 26-year-old victim was waiting for a bus  at 3814 NW 25th St. near Miami International Airport on Sunday when the incident occurred.

A good Samaritan intervened and that’s when the suspect, identified as Aaron K. Quinones ran from the scene.

Authorities patrolling the area were able to locate Quinones and arrested him.

He now faces an attempted murder charge and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
