Man Arrested after Accidentally Dropping Bag of Meth on Casino Floor

A Pennsylvania man is facing drug charges after he accidentally dropped a baggie of meth on the floor of a local casino.

The man, later identified as 30-year-old Zachery Ian Winters, was visiting the Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem on Monday when casino secure saw him drop a plastic bag on the gaming floor, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.

A security officer went to check it out and discovered the bag contained what appeared to be methamphetamine, a scale and a cell phone, per the report.

Police were notified and Winters was arrested as he was eating in the casino’s food court, police say.

Winters has been charged with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records indicate.

He’s being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
