Man and woman found doing meth inside home destroyed by Hurricane Ian

(Fort Myers Beach, FL)– Two people have been arrested after they were caught doing meth inside of a home that was left uninhabitable due to Hurricane Ian.
The duo was arrested on Saturday after a witness reported seeing suspicious activity at the home.
Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the home and found 51-year-old Jeffrey Michael Zukowski and 52-year-old Dawn Crystal Anderson inside.
The pair told authorities that they were working on the home, however, upon further investigation, authorities discovered the pair were in possession of a glass pipe and a crystalline substance in a baggie.
Authorities tested the items which came back positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
Zukowski and Anderson were arrested and have been charged with violating the curfew imposed on Fort Myers Beach, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
