A lockdown at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa is over. The base was put on lockdown for about an hour this morning and everyone was told to shelter in place. Police say the lockdown was prompted because of reports of gunfire near MacDill, but there was no active shooter on the base that’s home to the military’s Central Command. Tampa police are taking control of the investigation.
