Authorities in Lantana are reporting that a woman has died after she exited a vehicle while on I-95.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night in the southbound lanes, just before Lantana Road.

Officials say the 21-year-old woman was a passenger of a vehicle being driven by a 19-year-old man when she suddenly “exited” the vehicle.

Authorities say they are unsure why the woman exited the moving vehicle, however, they are currently investigating the incident.

No other information was released.
