Authorities in Miami are reporting that student was taken to an area hospital after they were grazed by a bullet.
The incident occurred near Northwestern Senior High School on Monday afternoon.
Investigators say the shooting occurred off campus but confirmed that a student was involved in the shooting.
The student was transported to an area hospital for treated on the wound.
