The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death in Lake Worth.

The discovery was made on Wednesday night in a home along Via Poinciana.

Authorities say they were originally called to the area to investigate a suspicious person but when they arrived, they found a body.

Officials have not reported the person’s cause of death nor have they released the person’s name, however, they did say the death is “suspicious in nature.”

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Division are investigating.
