RIVIERA BEACH, FL– A local father is pleading for the safe return of his daughter who has been missing since Thursday.
The father, Willis Williams, says he dropped his daughter Jaliyah off at her bus stop at the corner of East 25th Street and Lake Shore Drive 8:40 a.m. but she has not been seen since.
Officials say Jaliyah was supposed to take the bus to JFK Middle School but she never made it to school.
While they are not certain, Jaliyah’s family believes that she may be with her mother who recently lost custody of her:
“My dad had a custody battle with her mom and she lost custody. My sister has been in the mom’s care. I think that, possibly, the mom could have taken her. Where? I don’t know,” Jaquita Williams, Jaliyah’s older sister said.

Jaliyah is described as 125 pounds with brown eyes and has long brown braids in her hair. She was last seen wearing a turquoise polo shirt with khaki shorts, grey, pink, and white nikes, and was carrying a pink Nike backpack.

Authorities believe she may be in North Palm Beach or Palm Beach Gardens area.

If you have any information about Jaliyah’s disappearance, you are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (800)-458-TIPS.
