The National Christmas Tree is opening to the public tomorrow. President Biden helped light it last night in a ceremony near the White House. The president paid tribute to the lives lost from COVID and thanked service members for their sacrifices. He also credited the nation for being optimistic about the future. The tree is surrounded by dozens of others and decked out with ornaments made by students.
