(MIAMI, FL)– Hurricane Lisa formed just off the coast of Belize on Wednesday morning, targeting the Central American country with winds of 75 MPH.
The Category 1 storm is expected to make landfall later today as it tracks west at 15 MPH
Hurricane Martin, the 13th named storm of the season, remains far offshore from the Mid-Atlantic U.S. but may impact interests in Europe early next week.
A broad area of low pressure located over Hispaniola is slowly moving north and stands a 20% chance of tropical development early next week as it approaches the Bahamas.
