Lake Worth woman arrested after stabbing husband at a resort in the Keys

KEY LARGO, Fla. — A 60-year-old woman from Lake Worth, Florida is facing charges after she reportedly stabbed her husband with a steak knife.
Tami Ellen Kutz-Robertson was arrested Monday evening at a resort in Key Largo, Florida.
Authorities say they were called to the Playa Largo Resort & Spa after receiving a call about a man who was stabbed by his wife.
The victim told authorities that his wife was on painkillers and had been drinking when they got into an argument.
Kutz-Robertson then reportedly grabbed a steak knife and stabbed the victim before cleaning up the blood to conceal the incident.
The man was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While Kutz-Robertson was being taken into custody she told authorities that has medical issues.
She was taken to an area hospital to be checked out before she was transported to jail where she faces the following charges:

  • 1  MISDEMEANOR  784.03.1a1  BATTERY – TOUCH OR STRIKE
  • 1  FELONY  784.021.1a  AGGRAV ASSLT – WEAPON – W DEADLY WEAPON WITHOUT INTENT TO KILL
  • 1  FELONY  784.045.1a2  AGGRAV BATTERY – PERSON USES A DEADLY WEAPON
  • 1  FELONY  918.13.1a  EVIDENCE-DESTROYING – ALTER DESTROY CONCEAL REMO REC DOC PHYS EVIDENT

Her bond has been set at $ 7500.
