CORAL SPRINGS, FL– A 30-year-old man has been arrested after he attempted to drive to Coral Springs to have sex with a 12-year-old girl.
Joshua Fellow was taken into custody on May 5th after he showed up at Citation Way Condominiums at 9845 Westview Drive where he intended to meet the child.
Instead of the 12-year-old girl, Fellow had been communicating with an undercover officer.
According to the report, Fellow made contact with the undercover officer, who he believed was a child on a social media platform.
The officer then gave Fellow a number to text and the two engaged in conversation from April 27 to May 5.
Fellow was said to have sent the undercover officer a picture of himself, his email address, and explicit messages.
Still pretending to be the 12-year-old girl, the undercover officer made arrangements with Fellow to meet at the condominium.
The officer was said to have followed Fellow to the meeting spot and arrested him when he arrived.
Fellow was taken into custody on charges of computer pornography and child exploitation, traveling to meet after using a computer to lure a child, and a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
He remains at the Broward County Jail on a $45,000 bond.
