Karen Curtis

Karen_CurtisA graduate of University of Hawaii and a native of Honolulu, Karen has covered the news from one corner of America to another both on the ground and in the air.
She has worked as a news anchor for ABC TV affiliates in West Palm and Gainesville, was a helicopter traffic reporter and photojournalist for WCBS in New York, and has worked locally for NBC South Florida and Majic 102.7.
UPI named her Best Reporter in Florida and she was once called the “Fastest Woman In Hawaii” by USA Today after attending school on a Running scholarship.
Karen joined the WFTL news team in 2002. In her spare time she paints in watercolors and restores and hand paints antique furniture. She has a daughter in college named Katrina. Karen lives in Palm Beach Gardens.
