(JUPITER, FL)– Jupiter Community High School has been placed on lockdown due to a medical emergency involving a student.
The school sent out a recorded message to parents around 10:30 a.m. informing them of the situation:

“Good morning Jupiter High School parents and staff, this is the School District of Palm Beach County calling on behalf of Principal Iannitti,

Jupiter High School is currently locked down following a medical emergency involving a student who has been transported to the hospital.

This is an isolated incident. All students are safe. We will continue to update you.”
While many details have not been revealed at this time, our news partners at WPTV reported that a second-story window at the school appears to have been broken.
Several law enforcement agencies are currently at the scene.
No word on the extent of the student’s injuries.
