Jim Cantore Almost Gets Impaled By 2 x 4 During Hurricane Michael

A video that went viral shortly after the Category 4 hurricane made landfall around midday shows Cantore stepping outside during a live segment from Panama City Beach, Florida, to demonstrate the strength of the storm.

“It’s relentless,” the video shows Cantore shouting over the roar of the wind. He then looks up and dashes off camera as a chunk of storm debris a piece of 2-by-4 lumber, it seems — appears to fly through the spot where Cantore had been standing moments earlier.
