Jay-Z joins Instagram, instantly gains 2M million followers then deletes account

Jay-Z decided to joins Instagram and then decides to delete the account.

On Tuesday night, Jay-Z sent his first post on Instagram the read “The Harder They Fall.” the Netflix film he co-produced starring Idris Elba, Regina King, LaKeith Standfield, Zazie Beetz.

The Brooklyn-born hip-hop mogul has two songs on the movie’s soundtrack: “King Kong Riddim,” featuring Jadakiss, Conway The Machine and BackRoad Gee abd “Guns Go Bang” with Kid Cudi.

The Opus, released through Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Records, also has new tracks from Lauryn Hill, CeeLo Green, Seal.

Less than 24-hours of joining Instagram, the hip-hop genius quickly gained over 2 million followers.

Jay-Z didn’t last long on social media.

NBC’s Today reports that Jay-Z wrote original music for the film.
