TRUCKEE, CA– Authorities searching for a missing 16-year-old girl say they now believe she may have been abducted.
Kiely Rodni went missing following a party with over 100 teens and young adults near the Prosser Family Campground over the weekend.
Authorities say she was last seen by her friend around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
The friend told reporters that she was with Rodni for most of the party and that Rodni was in no position to drive home so she planned to stay at the campground.
Despite the plans, both Rodni and her silver 2013 Honda CRV are missing:
“I know that she wasn’t in the right mindset or state to drive. And if she were to have driven, she wouldn’t have made it far,” Smith told CBS Sacramento. “So my concern is that somebody might have offered to drive her home and then didn’t take her home.”
Rodni is described as a caucasian female who is 5’7″ tall, 115 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes.
She’s also said to have several piercings, including a nose ring.
She was last seen wearing green Dickie pants and a black tank top.
