POMPANO BEACH, FL– The Broward Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation after two pest control workers were found dead and another was left critically ill after working for a local pest control company.
The incident unfolded Saturday after the workers completed work at Baer’s Furniture warehouse at 1589 N.W. 12th Ave in Pompano Beach.
Investigators reported that after the workers completed their tasks at the warehouse, at least one of the workers felt ill and went to a hospital in Palm Beach County.
The Sheriff’s office was then notified that the two other workers were found deceased in different locations.
One worker was found dead in Boynton Beach, and the other was found dead in Hollywood.
After a preliminary investigation authorities determined that the workers did not become ill from working at the store.
The warehouse has been cleared and is open for business.
