For the 2016 Presidential election, the Democrats’ self-described “insurance policy” was alleged Russian interference in the election.
Now in 2020, Joe Biden says his greatest concern is that President Trump will “try to steal the November election.”
In a recent interview, Biden said he was worried that some votes wouldn’t be counted.
The former Vice President and presumptive Democratic presidential candidate said that Trump has already cast doubt on the legitimacy of mail-in ballots.
The Palm Beach Supervisor of Elections Wendy Link told 850WFTL that “mail in ballots” are actually “absentee ballots” except you don’t need an excuse to use one.
Even President Trump, whose official place of residence is Mar-a-Lago on Palm Beach may be using a mail-in ballot, himself. But there should be no problem in confirming the legitimacy of his signature on his ballot.
Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch says, “One man pleaded guilty after forging 1,200 mail-in ballot applications, resulting in 700 suspected fraudulent votes in a 2017 Dallas election. He was identified after a voter, whose ballot he harvested, snapped a photo of him on her cellphone.”
However, as Carole Baskin of the Big Cat Rescue Ranch in Tampa has proven, it’s easy to forge a signature.
According to handwriting expert and investigators, Baskin was allegedly able to trace the signature of her late husband, Don Lewis, on a new will and power of attorney.
Even though SOE Link says that the signature on the outside envelope of the mail-in ballot will be checked with the voter’s signature on file, however, there is still room for fraud according to the President.
Biden said his campaign is putting together lawyers to patrol the election.
It is possible the November 2020 election won’t be resolved for weeks due to this perceived problem.
