A Miami area woman has been taken into custody after she reportedly struck another vehicle and tried to flee the scene.
The incident was reported early Friday morning in the area of Northwest Second Avenue and 29th Street.
Authorities say that the unidentified woman was found a short time later with a cut on her head.
No other injuries were reported.
It is unclear if she was under the influence or why she tried to leave the scene.
The incident is still under investigation.
