Hurricane Ian disaster assistance extended

(WEST PALM BEACH, Florida)– Citizens of Florida who endured the damage from Hurricane Ian have been given more time to apply for federal disaster assistance.

FEMA has provided additional time for the application deadline for the following areas:

  • Collier
  • DeSoto
  • Flagler
  • Glades
  • Hardee
  • Hendry/Highlands
  • Hillsborough
  • Lake
  • Lee
  • Manatee
  • Monroe
  • Okeechobee
  • Orange
  • Osceola
  • Palm Beach
  • Pasco
  • Pinellas
  • Polk
  • Putnam
  • Sarasota
  • Seminole
  • St. Johns
  • Volusia
