(ROYAL PALM BEACH, FLA) — A Halloween high school bash turned deadly when a 19-year-old stabbed a victim Saturday Night.

Garrett Hennigar is charged with aggravated battery with a weapon following a physical altercation at a house party in which he allegedly stabbed a victim, according to authorities.

Deputies responded to the fight at 6669 Royal Palm Beach Blvd.

“It’s just scary that kids can’t really get together these days without that being a possibility,”Kellie Ballard, a neighbor of the 6000 block, told WPTV. “I have a daughter, so it’s kind of scary to know that.”

Hennigar was arrested and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail with no bond.

According to reports, the stab victim was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
