(WICHITA FALLS, TX) — A former Hooters waitress accused of murder was denied a request for a lower bond last week after attempting to convince the judge she’d pay her $100,000 bond with OnlyFans earnings.

Ashley Esselborn, 21, asked Judge Jeff McKnight Court on Dec. 9 to lower her bond from $100,000 to $50,000, claiming she has $8,000 in a locked account from the internet content subscription primarily used by sex workers, according to KFDX/KJTL.

Esselborn was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on May 24 in connection to the battering and death of Zachary Wood, 23.

Her bond was lowered from $1 million to $100,000 in July.

Esselborn confessed to witnessing a deadly altercation, cheering on co-defendants Payton Collier, William Bell, and Ronnie Lang as they beat Wood to death. She told deputies the argument began when she and Collier accused Wood of looting drugs and money from them, according to reports.

William Bell is out on $200,000 bond and Payton Collier remains jailed on $500,000 bond. Ronnie Lang was sentenced to 50 years in prison in September after pleading guilty.
