Heat Avoid Elimination in Boston Behind Jimmy Butler’s Historic 47 Point Night

After Miami’s game 5 loss at home Wednesday night that saw the Boston Celtics go up 3 games to 2, everyone outside of south Florida thought that this series was over. Even Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors said that they would be meeting the Celtics in the Finals.

But Jimmy Butler had other plans in Friday night’s game 6 at the Boston Garden as the Celtics were trying to close things out.

Jimmy’s historic game 6 performance had many, including Dwyane Wade, thinking back to other legendary Heat performances in elimination games.

It truly was a night to remember for Butler and the Miami Heat as they pulled of one of the gutsiest playoff victories in recent memory to force a game 7 back in Miami with a trip to the Finals on the line.

The Eastern Conference will be decided on Sunday night at 8:30.
