The Sussexes secretly snuck back into the UK, but only for a fleeting moment.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped by Windsor Castle this week on their way to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands to visit Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles.
A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan confirmed that the Sussexes visited Queen Elizabeth. According to the Sun, visitors to Windsor who were in town for the Maundy Thursday service spotted the royal couple.
“They looked happy and relaxed and waved to everyone on the bus. Charles and the Queen were at Windsor Castle at the same time so they must have met them both. It was quite the sight. We knew we might see Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall at the ceremony but never believed we would bump in to Harry and Meghan.”
Since moving to California in March 2020, the Sussexes have not returned to England together.
