Country star Hank Williams Jr. decides to celebrate Independence Day a little differently by setting off his 1861, 12-pound Napoleon cannon.

The civil war era cannon set off a bang as Williams’ way to celebrate the country on Monday. The singer was against using traditional fireworks and sprinklers, so (far away)  he invited some folks to watch the cannon set off instead.
