TALLAHASSEE, FL– Governor Ron DeSantis has officially filed the paperwork to enter the 2024 presidential race.
The paperwork was filed with the FEC on Wednesday, ahead of his expected formal announcement later today with CEO Elon Musk.
While there are several others who have entered the race, Gov. DeSantis is considered to be the primary challenger to former President Donald Trump in the 2024 Republican primary.
Governor Ron DeSantis’ announcement is expected at 6 p.m. on the Twitter Spaces platform.
