On Saturday Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency in Palm Beach County and seven other counties as Tropical Storm Eta threatens South Florida.

DeSantis issued the executive order  “out of an abundance of caution,” spokesman Fredrick Piccolo Jr. said.
