
SANTO DOMINGO- Ray Liotta, the acclaimed actor whose career spanned four decades, is dead at the age of 67.
Early reports say Liotta died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic where he was shooting a movie called “Dangerous Waters.”
He is best known for his role as Henry Hill in the classic film “Goodfellas” and was most recently starred in the Sopranos prequel ‘The Many Saints of Newark.”
In addition to his gangster-related projects, he is also known for appearances in 1989’s Field of Dreams, the Melanie Griffith film ‘Something Wild’, alongside dozens of television appearances.
A graduate of the University of Miami, Liotta appeared in a number of films produced around Florida and in 2014 provided the voiceover for a video promoting tourism in Palm Beach County.
He was married to actress Michelle Grace from 1997 to 2004 and leaves behind a daughter.
At the time of his death, he was engaged to Jacy Nittolo.
