A 53-year-old man is now facing DUI manslaughter charges after a passenger fell from a golf cart he was driving.
The incident occurred Tuesday night at the Floridian National Golf Club.
Authorities say three people left the clubhouse at SE Floridian Drive on a golf cart, and headed to a home in the neighborhood.
At some point during the drive, the driver ran over a manhole, which caused the passenger standing at the back of the cart to fall off.
The victim, Christopher Cipra of Texas, fell into the roadway and was severely injured.
He was transported to an area hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The driver, John Hehr of Texas, was arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter.
The incident is still under investigation.
