Golf cart crash on Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course , 2 injured

Riding in a golf cart is an every day occurrence for Floridians living on or near golf courses, it’s one of the many perks that makes living in a golf community so fun and easily accessible.

But this time it went terribly wrong.

Two people were hit by a car while riding in a golf cart on Palm Beach authorities say.

The riders were crossing the road at the Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course, located in the 2300 block of South Ocean Boulevard, when they were struck by a car.

A witness reported that one person was flown to the hospital and another was taken by ambulance.

Authorities said both victims in the golf cart have suffered severe life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle involved in causing the accident remained on the scene and was not hurt.
