Gas prices are rising in the nation, and in Florida the gas prices are up 14 cents from Wednesday, the highest the state has ever seen, according to AAA.
The national average for gas is now $4.32 — up seven cents from Wednesday. In Florida, the average is $4.35 — up 14 cents from Wednesday.
According to some reports, Florida lawmakers have agreed to lift the state’s gasoline tax for the month of October, because there will be less tourists in the state then and the relief can be targeted to residents.
That would cut the price of a gallon by just over .26 cents.
