A garbage truck fire is causing major delays on I-95 in Fort Lauderdale.

The incident was reported to have began around 5:00 p.m.  on the southbound lanes just north of the Sunrise Boulevard exit.

At one point, all southbound lines were shutdown while crews battled the fire. As of 6.p.m, however, only two right lanes remain blocked.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
