Remembering the 1991 William Kennedy Smith rape trial in Palm Beach County.

The accuser was protected by an electronic blue dot while on camera in the courtroom, until the jury said, “not guilty.”

Senator Ted Kennedy was called to testify by prosecution and the family forced John F. Kennedy Jr. to attend the trial.

It took 77 minutes for the jury to reach a verdict.
