Friend of victim involved in fatal motorcycle accident arrested for removing motorcycle from scene

Orange County, Florida – Authorities in Orlando have arrested a person in connection to a motorcycle that went missing from a fatal crash scene.
The crash occurred just before 11:45 p.m. Sunday near John Young Parkway and south of Central Florida Parkway.
Orange County police reported that they were called to the area in regards to a single motorcycle crash, but when they arrived to investigate the crash, the motorcycle was gone.
Investigators later discovered that a group of the victim’s friends relocated the motorcycle while the victim was being transported to an area hospital.
Police say motorcycle pick up was arranged by the victim’s friend 31-year-old Michael Alexander Cedano Calderon.
Calderon has since been taken into custody on a charge of tampering with evidence.
Police have also located the motorcycle brought into evidence.
While it was said that the victim lost control of my motorcycle, causing it to fall onto it’s side during the crash, authorities are still investigating the incident.
