A woman from Stuart tried to escape a St. Lucie County courtroom last week. officials said.
Rachel Christina Huss is facing felony escape charges.
Last Wednesday, just after she was seated in court, investigators said 26-year-old Huss slipped out of her right handcuff, hopped the jury box railing, and then ran out of the courtroom.

According to the arrest report, deputies captured her soon thereafter in a second-floor hallway.
Court records show that deputies initially arrested Huss on multiple counts of fraud-four counts for the illegal use of a credit card and one count of attempting to use the ID of another person without their consent.
