New York Governor Andrew Cuomo responding to reports that the state under-counted COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes by as much as 50% according to the state Attorney General.

Which Fox and Friends meteorologist Janice Dean has been saying since both her in-laws died from COVID contracted at New York nursing homes. The number of deaths appears to be 12-thousand as Dean predicted. She joined Jen and Bill live this morning on nursing home deaths in New York and how Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis protected seniors when Cuomo did not.
Dean lost both her in-laws to COVID in NY nursing homes and hopes the new report is ‘start of a bigger investigation’ into Cuomo.
More nursing home residents died from the coronavirus than the Health Department’s “published nursing home data reflected and may have been undercounted by as much as 50 percent,” Attorney General Letitia James’ investigators concluded in 76-page report.
“As the pandemic and our investigations continue, it is imperative that we understand why the residents of nursing homes in New York unnecessarily suffered at such an alarming rate,” James said in a statement.
