(FORT PIERCE, FL)– After appealing to the public for help police on the Treasure Coast arrested a 56 year old man in connection with a child molestation case.

Fort Pierce cops took Noe Cardenas into custody on Wednesday thanks to a tip from Crime Stoppers.

Detectives say Cardenas sexually assaulted a young girl at a Goodwill thrift store located in the Sabal Palm Plaza on South US-1 Tuesday.

According to a FPPD Facebook post, Cardenas also confessed to a separate molestation incident which took place at another store back in August.

He was arrested and charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.
